Leadership Development Program
(LDP)

The Leadership Development Program is a comprehensive program for managers and leaders at all levels to further develop their leadership skills and strengths , prepare them for higher level assignments, and/or succession opportunities.

The program consists of five stages of development and growth:

1. 360 assessments  and data from any proprietary instruments like DISC or Meyers Briggs.

Objective: Information gathered from these assessments will assist the leader in identifying strengths and areas for development (skills and/or behaviors) that they may not have been aware of. Conducted properly and with care, these assessments are of great value in developing specific program goals.

2. Leadership Profiles completed by leader.

Objective: These introspective profiles require the leader to evaluate and assess themselves in a holistic manner. Profiles of values, life balance, competencies, and leadership qualities provide added value in developing individual program goals.

3. Development of an Action Plan.

Objective: Utilizing information gathered from assessments and profiles, an individualized action plan with goals, areas for development, strategies, and timelines will serve as the primary guide for the leader's work during the length of the program.

4. Skill development training.

Objective: To improve performance skills sets that are identified in the Action Plan, the individual will participate in one-on-one, classroom, or online training. Participant may choose one-on-one training with Levings & Associates or another method at own expense.

5. Executive Coaching.

Objective: The leader will work, through all phases of the program, with an Executive Coach who will help him or her stay on track, enhance learning, overcome obstacles and serve as a confidante. A strong working relationship with the coach is essential to the success of the program.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Leadership Development Program requires two one-hour meetings per month over a three month period with a schedule that is feasible and sensitive to a leader’s work responsibilities. The manager/leader has ongoing access to the Executive Coach through all stages of the program and together will schedule sessions and all events related to program.
